This is my first time I heard so much information about sex in the class. Meantime, I have never discussed this topic with my parents. I think, in parents’ generation, they definitely would feel embarrassed about talking such a private conversation. Actually, people around me would not start talking about the sex issue positively. So, it is an impressive conversation that I realize I am in America now. Here is a more open-minded nation.
It was interesting and helpful because it let me know the sexual topic also could be discussed in a public occasion. It is a normal topic and I do not need to feel shame. Due to this deep discussion, I have to say I understand a lot information that I have never heard before. Students in this age are more open-minded, compared with students who are ten years older than them.

Sexuality was never something I talk a lot with my parents, sometimes they feel a bit awkward to open that conversation. But this is something that we all have to learn, it is something we need to know to protect ourselves. As a student, I always joke about sexuality with my friends. It was easy to talk about these dirty stuff, but I can hardly feel the same way when I talk to my parents about it. I feel like this is something a family should improve on, something we should be confident to talk about. Sex and BDSM are both stuff that occurs in real life a lot, therefore we shouldn't be ashamed to discuss about it. We should all be open minded and speak about it, whether in public or private, in front of family or friends, so everyone would know it is okay to make a discussion about it. If we don't speak about it, nobody will understand the positives and negatives about it, and if there is a problem, nobody can solve it. The morals, the boundaries of having sex with any gender can only be understood through conversation, so let's talk about sex!
