I would like to let you all know that the second trailer of the Wonder Woman movie just came out and you guys should totally go check it out. The link is right here: www.youtube.com/watch?v=5HUlW21v1fQI was thinking about our presentation and maybe we could talk about how the political relationship can affect the way how people of two countries view each other. I think we could add that to the thesis and talk about the relationship between the U.S. and the Japanese governments right now. Also, I just finished making a draft Prezi and I will show it to you all on Saturday when we meet, or you could see it here: prezi.com/lieno83jxri9/?utm_campaign=share&utm_medium=copy Also I may be one of the few non-Vietnamese people who knew the correct pronunciation of "pho" right from the beginning - I did not know what it was until a Vietnamese girl from my high school told me about it. Pho might be the only SE Asian dish that I actually like because it is not too different from Cantonese rice noodles - they're pretty much the same thing. I'd like to know where Pho King is too.

Great discussion thread! I like how you are thinking about historical and political context! I look forward to meeting with your group tomorrow.
I own a book that's a photo collection of post-atomic-bomb photos. You're right, those photos are terrible. But they also really helped me realize the full extent of the US war crimes of dropping those atomic bombs, especially after Japan's surrender was already evident before the bombs were dropped.

Hey I don't know if we're supposed to post this week but I'm just going to say that I am very glad that we finally got to do the presentation yesterday and I think it went well. I was very nervous when I was talking because I was the only one who went without a script.....not sure if you guys saw it but my hands were kind of shaking. It was a shame that we did not get to finish the debate, but everything else was fine. I really learned a lot from making this presentation, so I would like to thank the group and I hope that you all enjoyed it too.
